Even the party has ended, but the excitement and indulgent still lingers on. My heart soars when I found myself invited to the wonderful and lavish easter brunch at The Dharmawangsa. For me, The Dharmawangsa is definitely one of the most luxurious place to have a Sunday Brunch or even an Easter Brunch.

Nestled in the prestigious area of Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, The Dharmawangsa Jakarta hotel is a luxurious 5-star hotel that Inspired by Indonesian art, tradition, and culture. It is a place where you can find the vast, tranquility and lavishness on every corner.

The venue for the Easter Brunch at The Dharmawangsa is in Jakarta Restaurant & Courtyard. At the restaurant, you can choose to dine in a wonderful and romantic indoor area or in the warm and kinship outdoor area. For me, I will choose to dine at the outdoor area, where you can enjoy your meal in an open-air area with a warm and beautiful breeze that will accompany your brunch experience. Not only that, you will be accompanied by live entertainment and fun easter kids activities.Yup, Jakarta Restaurant & Courtyard also has a children corner, where kids can play and enjoy their brunch with a fun way.

On that special day, you will be indulged with fresh, fruity and lively champagne. Indeed, it was a wonderful day to enjoy this sparkling gold champagne with assorted delicacies that The Dharmawangsa offers. That is why, I start my culinary journey by enjoying the champagne with fresh and scrumptious oysters and scallops and salmon.

Here is a TIP: Call me a conservative person, but the classic pair for a champagne is with a clean, pure, fresh and light delicacies, and you can find those criteria from oysters, seafood, sushi, sashimi and of course fresh salad.
But experts said that saltiness is the taste sensation missing from champagne's flavour profile and can be counter-balance by salt in a dish. That is why, to fine-tune the champagne, you better play with salt. For your information, cheese is also one of the perfect pairing combination for champagne, due its savories has a great impact to the champagne.

The Dharmawangsa has a wonderful diversity collection for their seafood corner. you can find fresh oysters, scallops, prawns, salmon, etc. or you can go to the sushi-sashimi corner to indulge yourself withe the freshness and the purity of the "fruit de mer".

Or, if you want to put it on a different level, by combining the champagne with the caviar that you can freely ask for more.

One of the most favorite is obviously the foie gras corner. The pan seared goose liver was served along with the toast, caramelized banana, asparagus and sweet indulging berry sauce. The bitter foie gras was complemented with the sweetness from the banana and the sauce. The texture enriched by the asparagus and the toast. It is such a wonderful dish and not to be missed while you’re in this restaurant.

Jakarta Restaurant & Courtyard was known for their premium and of course, their wide range of delicacies. Not only caviar and foie grass, you can also find AOC french cheese collection, seafood tower, lobster thermidor, roasted giant grouper, greek-style spit-roasted lamb, Tepanyaki station and even Indonesian station. For closure, you can indulge yourself and try their assorted desserts, from an assortment of mini pastries, ice creams with assorted toppings and sauces, a chocolate fountain and many more.
